Sama Pagluguꞌ on the night of Maulud
On the night of the Maulud graduates (and trainees) of luguꞌ, the traditional chanting, of Sama and Tausug, gather at the mosque to chant the book of Maulud in honor of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. This video captures both the takbil of the male pakil and the luguꞌ from the Kitab al-Mawlid al-Nabawi by women pakil.
