Kauman Sama Online has incorporated as a domestic non-profit in the State of Indiana and is currently seeking non-profit status (pending) in the United States. Our request to incorporate was approved and filed with the Secretary of State on January 14, 2025.
Our assumed business name of Kauman Sama Online was also approved on January 15, 2025.

The current board of directors consists of:
- Omarjan Ibrahim Jahuran of Tabawan, South Ubian, Tawi-Tawi (Chairmen),
- Luke Schroeder, Indiana resident, also from General Santos City (Treasurer), and
- Daniel Minnella of Spokane, Washington and former resident of Davao City (Secretary).

The Purpose of Kauman Sama Co.
The specific purpose of Kauman Sama Co. is to promote, enhance, and foster the development and use of the Sinama language(s) of Southeast Asia and to provide educational opportunities for Sama people. We achieve this through a) Conducting language research and literacy programs, b) Studying and presenting Sama culture(s), c) Publishing related language materials in print, online, and mass media, d) Engaging in both online and actual community development. All these efforts seek to improve the quality of life for Sama people, wherever they may reside. Our organization is established exclusively for charitable, educational, literary, and scientific purposes.
Director Qualifications
All directors must demonstrate basic knowledge of at least one of the Sinama languages. This may be demonstrated through speaking, reading, or having studied a Sinama language, as determined by the Board. Directors are expected to maintain an ongoing commitment to the mission of preserving and promoting Sinama language and culture.
